The National Police has found a 19-year-old girl dead in Arrecife. The discovery took place at around two in the morning in an abandoned construction site in Argana Alta near Tenderete street, which is frequented by drug addicts.
The alert was given precisely by alleged drug users, who arrived at the abandoned building and found the young woman who did not react to any stimulus or move.
Healthcare personnel, who could only confirm the death, and agents of the National Police, who have taken over the investigation, have traveled to the scene.
According to La Voz, she was a girl who resided in Puerto del Carmen, and had a history of psychiatric issues. It was her mother who reported her disappearance this Friday.
The investigation is under judicial process and remains open. It will be necessary to wait for the autopsy to determine the causes of death.
