Emergency services had to intervene in the early hours of Monday due to a young man's suicide attempt in a house in Arrecife, as reported by the Emergency Consortium.
The events occurred around 3 a.m. when CECOES received a call alerting them to the situation of a 28-year-old man with suicidal thoughts in a house on Calvo Sotelo street in the capital of Lanzarote.
Agents of the National Police, an ambulance from the Canary Emergency Service, and firefighters were dispatched to the scene. When the firefighters arrived, the affected person was already outside the home, so it was not necessary to open the door.
The medical personnel, along with the firefighters and agents of the National Police, managed to transfer the young man, "against his will," from his home to the ambulance for subsequent transfer to the Hospital. JosJosé Molina Orosa.
