National Police agents have arrested a 25-year-old man of Moroccan nationality in Arrecife, with numerous police records, as the alleged perpetrator of a robbery with violence. According to the police force, the arrested man punched the victim several times in the face and body, who had to receive medical assistance at a health center.
The events unfolded in the early hours of the morning when a citizen of Chinese origin was leaving a bingo hall in the direction of a nearby parking lot, at which point a man approached him asking for money. At the moment he was going to give it to him, he began to hit him in the face and body, knocking him to the ground, at which point he stole 800 euros and a mobile phone.
The National Police thus initiated an investigation as a result of which they were able to identify and arrest the alleged perpetrator, who turned out to be a 25-year-old man of Moroccan nationality, with numerous police records, for a crime of robbery with force. The victim had to receive medical assistance at a health center.
After drawing up the corresponding report, the detainee was placed at the disposal of the competent Judicial Authority.
