The National Police have arrested a 22-year-old man as the alleged perpetrator of a crime against public health, after becoming aware that he was selling narcotics in the Arrecife leisure area.
According to the police force, the detainee received synthetic drugs through two post office boxes, and acquired them through the hidden internet network, known as the "Dark Web".
At the time of being identified, the National Police seized 12.37 grams of ecstasy and 0.60 grams of methamphetamine, so they proceeded to arrest him for an alleged crime against public health.
According to the National Police, in the post office boxes used by the arrested man, four letters were seized, in which there were 55 grams of methamphetamine, 10 ecstasy pills, 2 grams of Dimethyltryptamine and 100 doses of LSD.
