The Lanzarote Security and Emergency Consortium intervened this Friday, January 16, on the mountain of Tahiche to rescue a sheep that was disoriented and injured near the summit, after receiving a report from the Teguise Local Police.
The officers moved to the area and accessed the location where the animal was, managing to secure it and proceed with its descent to the foot of the mountain. There, the Animal Welfare service of the Teguise City Council was waiting for them, and they took charge of the sheep for its attention and care
Once the animal was handed over to municipal services, the Consortium considered the service concluded without further incidents.
