Two young people, 17 and 18 years old, were injured after a fight that occurred in the early hours of this Saturday, September 4, on Avenida de Naos, in the Lanzarote municipality of Arrecife.
The brawl occurred at 02:09 hours, according to relatives of the injured:"six men of about 30 years of age hit the two boys."
Agents of the National Police went to the place at first and managed to stop a fight and minutes later they had to return since another fight had occurred, with three people involved who were hitting each other in the middle of the road. Once separated, a woman informs them that there are two unconscious boys nearby. The police go to the place indicated by the witness, locate them and request medical attention.
Both presented head trauma, of moderate character, and one of them a fracture in the jaw, and had to be transferred in a medicalized ambulance and another basic life support of the Canary Emergency Service (SUC) to the Doctor José Molina Orosa Hospital. The minor suffers a fracture in the jaw, so he will be transferred to Doctor Negrín this Saturday.
The family will file a complaint this Saturday with the National Police once they have the injury reports.
The National Police is investigating and collecting information with the testimonies of the witnesses. For now there are no detainees.
