Two people were injured this Thursday by burns related to steam in the Timafaya National Park. The incident occurred at 12.58 hours, according to the Emergency and Security Coordinating Center (CECOES).
A woman, with serious burns and a minor under 6 years of age, with minor burns have been the main affected. Both have been assessed and assisted by health personnel and subsequently transferred to the Molina Orosa Hospital to be treated for the injuries.
A medicalized ambulance, another basic life support ambulance and a sanitized ambulance of the Canary Emergency Service (SUC) have been moved to the area. In addition, agents of the Local Police have also arrived at the scene to instruct the corresponding proceedings.
