Two organic waste containers burned on Friday afternoon in Los Cocoteros, according to the Emergency Consortium.
The fire took place around 6 p.m., when the Emergency and Security Coordination Center was alerted. Firefighters went to the scene and found that the two containers were burning, one of them was completely burned and the other with significant damage.
The emergency teams extinguished the fire using sprayed and jetted water.
Local Police of Teguise and the Civil Guard also attended the scene.
