Firefighters extinguished the fire of two containers in Arrecife this Friday, as reported by the Emergency Consortium. In addition, a paper bin that was about 100 meters from the containers was also completely burned.
The fire took place at 7:33 p.m. on Severo Ochoa street in the capital of Lanzarote. Upon arrival, the emergency teams found that it was a cardboard recycling container and a plastic container that were burning in their entirety, rendering them unusable.
The firefighters were able to separate a third container from the fire, which was partially affected on one side, but can continue to operate.
National Police officers also went to the scene.
