Firefighters from the Security and Emergency Consortium of Lanzarote have rescued two people who were trapped while climbing in an area of the Órzola Cave, in the municipality of Haría. The events took place at 1:25 p.m. this past Thursday in Lanzarote.
According to the Consortium, they had been trapped and could not go up or down. The firefighters requested the support of colleagues from La Graciosa, who were the first to arrive at the indicated place using a jet ski. According to the firefighters of the eighth island, the two people were on a path.
After assessing the situation, they found that they were in good health and that they were two hikers, mother and daughter, who were only scared and insecure to continue walking, so together with the Local Police of Haría who were in the area, they were accompanied to the Cantería beach.
Once the service is finished, the fire station and CECOES are informed and we return to the park.
