This Saturday, March 15, at 7:55 p.m., a traffic accident was recorded on Avenida Faro Pechiguera, in Playa Blanca, near the school. According to reports from the Lanzarote Security and Emergency Consortium, the collision involved two vehicles: an Opel Corsa, which overturned after the impact, and a Seat Altea. Fortunately, none of the occupants of the two vehicles were injured.
Upon arriving at the scene, emergency services found the Opel Corsa overturned on its roof. With the help of the Local Police, who had already closed the road to facilitate the work, the emergency teams proceeded to turn the vehicle over and parked it in a nearby area for later removal by a crane.
In addition, cleaning tasks were carried out on the road, using sepiolite to absorb the oil spill.
