The business of the brothers J.Q.C. and M.Q.C., 36 and 44 years old respectively, was ruined in the most drastic way: the Civil Guard, after suspecting that they were engaged in drug trafficking inside the apartment in which they lived, arrested them after finding 17 marijuana plants in their house with which they were making a killing in the Lanzarote municipality of Costa Teguise.
The two brothers, natives of Pontevedra, have been accused of a crime against public health for cultivation and drug trafficking and have been placed at the disposal of the Investigating Court Number Five of Arrecife.
As a result of a series of investigations, the Civil Guard suspected that inside an apartment located on Avenida del Mar in Costa Teguise, its residents were engaged in activities related to the sale of narcotic substances.
The civil guards carried out a search of the house, discovering an important Cannabis Sativa plantation, with 17 marijuana plants being seized, as well as seeds, a precision scale and a hundred plastic wrappers prepared for packaging and selling this substance.
