A woman has been rescued from the sea by two young Moroccans who were on the Fariones beach in Puerto del Carmen, as a witness to the event told La Voz.
The events took place at around 4:30 p.m. this Saturday. Apparently, the sea was very rough and the woman began to have problems, so the two young men jumped into the water to help her.
The three were able to get out of the water, and both the woman and one of the rescuers who suffered injuries had to be treated by the health services that went to the scene.
Local Police and Civil Guard agents have also traveled to the scene.
