Three hooded men armed assaulted two homes in La Vegueta on Wednesday night, where they tied up the tenants and assaulted a woman.
According to sources close to La Voz, the events took place around 10:00 p.m., after the assailants cut a chain from a private estate, through which they accessed with a vehicle to the area where the apartments are located, in which two foreign families reside.
Once there, they broke into them and tied up their tenants with flanges, a fact that has been confirmed by the Civil Guard. In addition, they assaulted a woman and broke her arm. Among the victims of the assault were three women and a minor.
Also, neighbors in the area say that the assailants tried to access a third home, although they did not succeed. According to them, the assailants were armed with pistols, although it is believed that they could be fake. However, although the Benemérita has confirmed that the assailants were carrying weapons according to the testimony of the victims, the events are being investigated.
And, the assailants managed to flee the place. In fact, they abandoned the apartments without stealing anything. A fact that the neighbors attribute to the fact that the noise and screams that were heard were such that, given that there are other homes in the vicinity, they fled. For the moment, according to what has been confirmed by the Benemérita, no arrests have been made in this regard.
