The Civil Guard from the Main Post of Costa Teguise, along with a nurse and Local Police from Haría, assisted a person on October 12 in the Maguez area (Haría).

Through the Central Operations Service (COS) of the Civil Guard of Las Palmas, a notice was received alerting them to the presence of a vehicle in a difficult-to-access area, specifically in the area known as Gallo, in the town of Máguez (Haría).

The terrain, mountainous in nature with steep slopes and deep ravines, presented a high risk to the safety of its occupant. Faced with the emergency, a patrol from the Costa Teguise Main Station quickly moved to the location, coinciding with a unit from the Haría Local Police who were already cordoning off the area.

At the scene, agents located a vehicle a short distance from the edge of a slope approximately 200 meters deep. Inside was a middle-aged man, assisted by a nurse from the Canary Islands Health Service who was off duty and who, upon realizing the dangerous situation, had initially intervened to provide assistance and alert the emergency services.

Thanks to the collaboration between healthcare personnel, the Local Police, and the Civil Guard, it was possible to stabilize the situation and safeguard the vehicle's occupant. Subsequently, the healthcare services dispatched to the scene attended to the affected individual, who was transferred to the Arrecife General Hospital for medical evaluation.

The rapid coordination between agencies and services allowed for the successful resolution of an intervention in a highly challenging environment.
