Early this Tuesday morning, a gas station in Arrecife was broken into, according to police sources speaking to La Voz. The events took place around 5:30 a.m. in the Argana Alta neighborhood, in the capital of Lanzarote.
The thieves approached the establishment when it was closed to steal two cash registers. To carry out the robbery, they had to break the glass of the gas station. The owner of the gas station clarified to the agents who arrived at the scene that the stolen cash registers "did not contain any money".
Following the incident, the National Police has launched an investigation to find the perpetrator or perpetrators of the robbery.
