The young Cuban man murdered last Saturday in an apartment in Puerto del Carmen, received more than a dozen stab wounds that caused his death at the scene. The Investigating Court number 2 of Arrecife, which was on duty, ordered the imprisonment without bail of the two detainees, two men in their 30s and 40s.
The victim and the murderers allegedly knew each other. For reasons that are still being investigated, during an argument in which more people were present, these two people began to stab him with a knife on more than a dozen occasions while they were inside the apartment located at number 26 of Pedro Barba street in Puerto del Carmen.
One of the witnesses was the one who gave the notice of what happened. He called the Coordinating Center for Emergencies and Security (Cecoes) 112 and despite the rapid intervention of the ambulances of the Canary Emergency Service (SUC) and the patrols of the Armed Institute, they could do nothing to save his life due to the severity of the injuries, according to the sources consulted.
