The duty court of Arrecife has decreed this Tuesday afternoon the imprisonment of the two men arrested for allegedly murdering a 24-year-old Cuban man last Saturday inside an apartment in the tourist town of Puerto del Carmen.
The rapid action of the Civil Guard allowed to identify and arrest the alleged perpetrators in a matter of hours. The two detainees are both of Canarian origin and about 30 years old.
The discovery of the corpse occurred at about half past eleven last Saturday in an apartment on Pedro Barba street in the municipality of Tías. In the house was located the body of a young man who, although at first it was thought that he had died from a cut in the neck, it was later confirmed that he died from several stab wounds with a knife, as specified by the sources consulted.
