The 55-year-old woman who remains hospitalized, stable within the severity, in the public hospital of Lanzarote after being stabbed this Friday by her current partner was abused years ago by a previous one, which led her to take refuge in a resource managed by the Island Council.
After leaving this center for abused women and continuing with her life, she has once again been the victim of an aggression by her current partner, who gave her several cuts, one of them in the neck, with a knife, facts for which he has already been arrested.
On this occasion, the victim alerted the emergency services of her aggression with a call to 112, according to sources from the Lanzarote Island Council this Saturday, which allowed her to be assisted promptly and evacuated with a reserved prognosis to the Doctor José Molina Orosa University Hospital.
