National Police agents have arrested in Arrecife, 4 men and a woman between 32 and 38 years of age, two of them with numerous police records, as alleged perpetrators of a robbery with force.
As La Voz reported, in the early morning of September 12, a call was received on the phone of the 091 National Police Station, from a citizen stating that he was observing how several individuals had crashed a car against a betting establishment. They used another vehicle to flee with a machine from the arcade in the trunk at high speed.
The police officers immediately went to the referenced place, failing to locate the alleged perpetrators. At the scene there was a car with the front destroyed and a betting establishment with damage, where they had stolen a machine with 12,000 euros inside.
Thus began a police investigation that, together with citizen collaboration, achieved the full identification of all the alleged perpetrators of the ram-raid.
After an extensive police operation, the vehicle used for the escape and the stolen machine were located in a landfill on the island. In addition, 11,000 euros in cash that had been stolen were recovered. The police action culminated in the arrest of five people as alleged perpetrators of a robbery with force. All of them were placed at the disposal of the competent Judicial Authority.
