A game room in Arrecife suffered a new robbery last Monday. Eight hooded men crashed a car into the shutter of the premises and took a coin changing machine. The events occurred in the early hours of the morning around 2:30 a.m. in a game room located on Tenderete Street in the Argana neighborhood.
The assailants accessed the place by crashing the vehicle against the shutter of the establishment. Once inside, they took a coin changing machine and put it in another vehicle and sped away, according to the testimony of the neighbors.
Once they broke the shutter of the entrance to the game room, the alarm sounded, so they ran out, they explain to La Voz. The value of what was stolen could exceed 30,000 euros to which all the damages must be added.
They could not recognize the thieves since "they were hooded and you could not see who they were", the citizens assure. In addition, "we did not want to approach, the thieves were carrying katanas", they add.
The owner of the premises reported the events to the National Police, who are already investigating the events to find the thieves.
It is not the first time that this place has suffered a robbery, "some time ago there was another in which they opened the door and took the cash register", they add.
