The number of detainees in the latest anti-drug operation in Lanzarote rises to six

The National Police carried out arrests in Tinajo and Arrecife for the commission of an alleged crime against public health

The National Police has arrested six people in Lanzarote in the framework of a drug operation. As confirmed by the Communication Office of the Superior Court of Justice of the Canary Islands to La Voz.

Thus, the arrests took place in the municipalities of Arrecife and Tinajo, as advanced by this editorial office.

The Court of Instruction number 3 of Arrecife has ordered provisional prison for five men for the commission of an alleged crime against public health.

Meanwhile, the sixth person affected, a woman who was arrested in a central notary office in Arrecife, as La Voz advanced, has been released provisionally with precautionary measures, that is, her passport has been withdrawn to prevent her from leaving the country.

The arrests took place last Wednesday, February 28 and last Thursday, February 29, in both municipalities. The first one occurred at noon in a central notary office in Arrecife, near the Church of San Ginés. Meanwhile, the rest occurred in Tinajo.
