The National Police arrested a woman in Lanzarote last Wednesday around 1:30 p.m. Specifically, the events took place in a central notary office in Arrecife near the Church of San Ginés.

According to a witness told La Voz, two agents, with their faces hidden behind a balaclava and wearing yellow vests, burst into the place and arrested a woman. The detainee works in a well-known agency on the island, run by her family.

The arrest occurred when the woman was in the notary's office signing a mortgage. Finally, according to the same witnesses, she left the place under arrest without being handcuffed.

According to sources from the National Police, it could be an operation against drug trafficking, for which there was a police device, but it is under summary secrecy.
