The National Police has opened an investigation to try to clarify a presumed aggression suffered by a young woman during the celebration of the Arrecife Carnival parade, on Monday afternoon.
According to what they have confirmed from the police force, the events occurred at around 7:30 p.m., near the Arrecife Bus Station, a place to which agents who were part of the security device of the parade moved after being required.
There, they found a girl lying on the ground, with a gash on her head and bleeding, who stated that she believed she had been hit by a stone, although she had not been able to see her aggressor.
According to the National Police, the events would constitute a crime of injury, although they are still being investigated. According to what they have indicated, an ambulance also went to the place, which attended to the victim.
