Agents of the National Police have found the lifeless body of Juan Carlos Tejera in the area of the Argana Alta landfill. It was one of the dogs of the Canine Unit of Gran Canaria that had moved to the island to search the area, who located the body that showed signs of having been beaten. It was in one of the caves at considerable depth. Being a difficult access area, they needed the collaboration of the Firefighters of the Emergency Consortium.
According to the reconstruction of what happened the night Tejera disappeared, last Friday, March 13, which the Police have been able to elaborate, and which has also been related by La Voz, up to three people could have participated in the possible murder of the 39-year-old man. The agents cordoned off the garage of his house in Arrecife, where traces of blood were found, and it is believed that someone could have taken him from there. The evidence then leads to Argana, where Tejera's van was found on Friday morning. That vehicle would have then been driven along dirt roads to the landfill, where blood stains, a shoe of the missing man, his wallet with his documentation and cash, and an iron bar also with traces of blood were found.
