The National Police in Arrecife has arrested a man, with no police record, as the alleged perpetrator of a drug trafficking crime.
Police investigations began in the middle of the year, culminating in the arrest in the capital of Lanzarote of the main suspect.
The police operation culminated with the search of the now detained's vehicle, where 45 kilograms of hashish, 10 kilograms of cocaine, and 102 grams of pink cocaine, known as Tusi, were seized hidden inside several boxes of potatoes and onions.
The arrested person was placed at the disposal of the competent Judicial Authority, who ordered his imprisonment.
