The vehicle of the PP councilor in the Arrecife City Council, Roberto Herbón, has once again appeared with the moon destroyed, just as it happened in mid-August. This time, the wallet and mobile phone have also been stolen from inside the car.

The events occurred on Wednesday afternoon near the Valterra health center. "The moon appeared broken and personal belongings were stolen," the PP told La Voz. The mayor has already reported these events to the National Police, who are trying to find out who is behind this incident.

The car of this PP councilor was already "attacked" in mid-August, according to his party. At that time, the PP attributed it "to the radical speeches" against oil, since graffiti appeared that said "oilman". This time "no word has appeared, so it is not known who is behind this." However, the PP points out that "the demonstration" against oil is approaching, which will take place this Saturday, and just then is when the councilor's car "has been attacked again".

The coordinator of the PP in Arrecife, Dácil Garcías, has spoken about these events on her Facebook profile, where she has preferred to avoid the name of the affected PP councilor. "I cannot understand how people who claim to be more democratic than anyone else can carry out violent actions against the assets of people who do not share their ideas. I am sorry to tell you that this is not being democratic, this is called intolerance," she said.

Garcías believes that the people behind these events must "respect in order to be respected." "The fact that there are different ideas is what enriches us. We must learn from each other without trying to impose ideas, because no one has the supreme truth," she insisted, since she fears that these events are related to Herbón's defense of oil exploration.
