Hassan, the man who was run over this Tuesday due to a family fight in Puerto del Carmen, has stated in statements to La Voz that his brother wants to kill him.
The man, a resident of Matagorda, assures that it is not the first time that his brother has tried to hit him with a vehicle. According to his testimony, the same thing already happened approximately two months ago in Playa Honda, in the vicinity of the Deiland shopping center.
This time, the events occurred at 3:50 p.m. on Juan Carlos I street in Puerto del Carmen, near the Disa gas station, next to the Spar in this neighborhood of Tías. In a video that this editorial team has had access to, you can see how a car runs over Hassan at the door of the service station in broad daylight, while he claims that his brother was driving the car.
Despite the incident, Hassan was transferred to the hospital with a minor ankle contusion.
According to his testimony, this hit-and-run occurs after receiving several death threats.
