The Local Police of Arrecife arrested a couple during a fight last Sunday. The events occurred at about 8:00 p.m. in the Argana Alta neighborhood of Arrecife.
According to police sources, the fight began between a 39-year-old man and a 33-year-old woman, a couple who were arguing. During the confrontation, the man asked for help from a mother and daughter, 38 and 15 years old, who were witnessing the dispute.
At the moment when the two women tried to mediate to separate the couple, the woman attacked both of them, who immediately called the police.
Upon the arrival of the agents, the couple did not want to identify themselves or leave the place, and the woman allegedly became aggressive. Minutes later, both ended up arrested for threats, resistance, and disobedience.
