The lifeless body of a young man has appeared this Sunday among the rocks on the coast of La Santa, in the municipality of Tinajo. The discovery took place around 1:00 p.m., when the Coordinating Center for Security and Emergencies was activated.
Personnel from the Civil Guard and the Local Police of Tinajo, as well as members of the NGO Emerlan, have traveled to the scene and have been in charge of guarding the corpse.
All indications are that it would be the young Swiss man who disappeared on February 20, when he was walking through this area with his grandmother and fell into the sea. The search device that was activated then failed to locate the young man. In addition, the poor sea conditions complicated the work of the GEAS divers, who did not carry out dives.
This same week, almost a month after the disappearance, the divers returned to the area, although the search was also unsuccessful.
