The driver who crashed into the median on the road between Arrecife and San Bartolomé this Sunday at noon tested positive for alcohol.
Specifically, as confirmed by the Local Police, the driver had a rate of 0.90 milligrams of alcohol per liter of exhaled air, when the maximum allowed is 0.25. That is, it almost quadrupled the allowed limit.
The accident occurred at 2:43 p.m. this Sunday on the LZ-20, near Mémora. Agents from the Local Police, the Civil Guard Traffic and the Emergency Consortium went to the scene.
