A 31-year-old man has been moderately injured this Friday afternoon after suffering an accident while driving an electric scooter in Arrecife.
The events date back to 5:30 p.m. in the afternoon, at the Fred Olsen Avenue roundabout, at the roundabout in front of the Gran Hotel in the capital of Lanzarote.
A witness tells La Voz that the injured person suffered a major collision with the scooter and led him to fall to the ground. Several people who were at the scene, as well as officers from the Arrecife Local Police and personnel from the Canary Islands Emergency Service (SUC) in two ambulances, one medicalized and the other with basic life support, went to the area.
The man was transferred in a medicalized ambulance to the Doctor José Molina Orosa Hospital.
