The lifeless body of a 60-year-old woman of foreign nationality appeared in the early hours of Thursday to Friday floating in the pool of an apartment in Puerto del Carmen, in Lanzarote, as reported by the press service of the Canary Islands Government Coordinating Center for Security and Emergencies.
The discovery took place at about 2:19 this morning, in the pool of an apartment on Timón Street in Puerto del Carmen, in the municipality of Tías.
Around this time, the Emergency and Security Coordination Center (Cecoes) 112 received an alert call reporting the discovery of a lifeless body of a woman. 112 quickly activated the necessary emergency resources.
The health personnel of the Canary Emergency Service (SUC) have moved to the scene, who have performed basic and advanced cardiopulmonary resuscitation maneuvers on the woman, which have not been successful.
The Civil Guard has been in charge of instructing the corresponding proceedings.
