The Civil Guard of Tías rescued this Thursday, December 12, an 85-year-old man who had been locked in his house on Los Aljibes street in Tías for several days. It was the health personnel of the health center and the Social Services personnel who requested the assistance of the Benemérita after verifying that he had not attended his check-ups for days and that he was not answering the phone calls either.
The agents of the Main Post of Tías went to his home in the company of an SUC ambulance. Once there, the agents climbed the two-meter-high exterior wall of the house and, upon reaching the exterior of the house, tried to locate him through the windows by calling the man. Then they heard a weak voice inside the house, so they quickly opened the door and found him face down on the floor of his house with signs of having been there for several days.
He was immediately attended by the health personnel who accompanied the agents. After performing the first medical care, they transferred him to the Molina Orosa Hospital in Arrecife.
