The Civil Guard of Tías arrested on the 7th a 22-year-old woman, with initials J.E.F., and a 23-year-old man, with initials F.J.R.G., as alleged perpetrators of offenses of theft inside a vehicle and fraud, committed during the early morning in the town of Puerto del Carmen.
The investigations began on the same day following the complaint of the owner of the vehicle, who informed the agents that he had parked it in the Varadero area and that when he returned to it he had found the window open without signs of breakage or forcing, and that they had stolen two mobile phones and his personal wallet, which contained cash and several bank cards. In addition, he had verified how with one of the cards they had made different charges during that morning, which amounted to 124 euros.
Based on the police investigations carried out later, the agents collected evidence to identify the alleged perpetrators, J.E.F. and F.J.R.G., who were arrested on the 7th and were placed at the disposal of the corresponding Court, on guard duty, of Arrecife.
