The Civil Guard of the Main Post of Costa Teguise arrested between July 18 and 19 two women with initials E.O.G. - 29 years old and numerous police records - and O.D.A. - 53 years old without police records - as alleged perpetrators of a crime of robbery with force in an infant and primary school in the municipality of Teguise.
The investigation began on June 19, when the teaching staff of the affected center reported a robbery committed the previous morning where the alleged perpetrators accessed the interior of the center, by scaling, through a window that overlooked the outside.
In this way, they stole two laptops, two audiovisual projectors, and a wifi signal modem-repeater device that has been recovered.
As a result of the technical-ocular inspection of the place where the robbery was committed and its surroundings, together with another series of police investigations, it was finally possible to gather sufficient evidence to identify and arrest the alleged perpetrators of the events, E.O.G. and O.D.A.
These investigations were facilitated by the background of a previous robbery committed in the same center and in almost the same way, which made the agents suspect two people who lived nearby, a sentimental couple formed by a woman with initials E.O.G. and the man R.A.C.D. - with numerous police records and 32 years of age-.
Home registration
Prior to the described robbery, the Civil Guard had requested, in another different action, an entry and search of the home of R.A.C.D. for a matter related to a crime of mistreatment in the family environment committed by him on E.O.G., and for which he was finally imprisoned.
During the search, the Civil Guard surprised one of the alleged perpetrators -O.D.A.-, a relative of R.A.C.D., leaving his home with the aforementioned recovered effect, so the acting agents proceeded to his arrest.
The detainees have been placed at the disposal of the corresponding Court, on guard duty, of the town of Arrecife.
In addition, the Local Police of the municipality had previously surprised E.O.G. and R.A.C.D. on the morning of June 2 after stealing from the same school, recovering all the material and leaving the detainees at the disposal of the corresponding duty court.
