The Civil Guard arrested the alleged perpetrator of the assault on his ex-partner at approximately 2:30 p.m. this Sunday, which occurred on Saturday night during the Caleta de Famara festivities. The arrest of the young man, identified by the initials H.J.P.P., born in 1987, took place in the same coastal town, as he had not yet left the party. The alleged perpetrator also threatened to kill the officers who arrested him.
After learning of the events, Benemérita officers conducted inquiries at the Hospital where a girl had been treated for a physical assault, suffering blows and punches from her ex-partner. The officers contacted a witness, a friend of the victim, who described how the events unfolded. Additionally, the alleged perpetrator also assaulted the victim's current partner.
With all this information, the Civil Guard has arrested this young man, a resident of Tinajo. The victim filed the assault report this Sunday afternoon at the Main Post of Costa Teguise.
