The Civil Guard of the Main Post of Yaiza arrested on September 16 a male with initials R.C. - of foreign nationality, 26 years of age and without a criminal record - as the alleged perpetrator of a crime of injury, for allegedly attacking another person with a knife.
The aforementioned aggression occurred in the town of Playa Blanca, around 04:00 hours, when supposedly R.C. approached a group of people with the intention of specifically attacking one of them, whom he injured with a knife - a knife - in different parts of the body, especially in the face and in an arm, even requiring his subsequent transfer to the Doctor Negrín Hospital on the island of Gran Canaria.
As a result of the victim's statement, other witnesses, and based on other police proceedings, the Civil Guard finally gathered sufficient evidence to identify and arrest R.C. on the 16th as the alleged perpetrator of the aggression, who was at an unknown location, passing to the disposition of the corresponding Court, on guard duty in Arrecife, which ordered his imprisonment.
