The lifeless body of a man between 50 and 60 years old has been found this Thursday in a house on Gómez Ulla street, where he apparently had died "several days" ago. This was stated by the Lanzarote Emergency Consortium.
It was the Local Police who alerted the firefighters to the possibility that there was a deceased person inside a house that was closed. The firefighters accessed the interior through a window on the first floor with the help of the telescopic ladder. After opening the door and confirming that the man was deceased, they opened the main door.
Afterwards, the Local Police remained guarding the body until the judicial authority authorized the removal of the corpse. According to the Consortium, the autopsy will determine the causes of death.
