The beer thieves from a hotel in Costa Teguise were arrested while attempting another robbery in Puerto de Carmen

The arrested were surprised by the Civil Guard entering a tourist villa

The Civil Guard of the Main Post of Tías, arrested on April 4 two people of Spanish nationality and initials C.J.R.C. and J.V.C. - 45 and 54 years old, with numerous police records and residents of the municipality of Arrecife - as alleged perpetrators of two crimes against heritage in the municipalities of Teguise and Tías.

The action of the Civil Guard began on the aforementioned day, when they were surprised when they accessed by scaling one of the villas of a residential complex in Calle Hungría, in Puerto del Carmen, not getting to steal anything thanks to the rapid intervention of two civil guards who reside in the place.

In addition, the agents of the Main Post of Tías realized that the detainees C.J.R.C. and J.V.C. were also wanted for a crime of robbery with force in a hotel in Costa Teguise, committed on March 30, from where they took four drums of beer that were recovered after abandoning them when they were surprised by a security guard.

The detainees, who have also been administratively denounced for not respecting the sanitary confinement measures due to the state of alarm, have been placed at the disposal of the corresponding Court, in functions of guard, of Arrecife.
