Swiss tourist rescued with signs of drowning in Playa Blanca

She has been evacuated by ambulance to the José Molina Orosa Hospital

A Swiss woman was rescued this Monday afternoon with severe signs of drowning at Playa Dorada in the southern town of Playa Blanca, as reported by CECOES.

After alerting 112, two ambulances, one basic life support and one medicalized, from the Canary Emergency Service and the Local Police were dispatched.

The 55-year-old victim, at the time of assistance, showed signs of severe drowning and after being stabilized, she was evacuated in a medicalized ambulance to Doctor José Molina Orosa Hospital.

The Local Police have been in charge of instructing the proceedings.
