Paramedics prevented a woman from allegedly committing suicide in Puerto del Carmen, according to the Emergency Consortium.
The events took place at about 9:32 in the morning this Wednesday, the moment the CECOES was alerted.
Agents of the Local Police, Civil Guard, an ambulance of the Canary Emergency Service and a doctor from the Health Center went to the house.
Upon arriving at the scene, the firefighters found a woman at the entrance of her house, visibly nervous, while a paramedic from the Canary Emergency Service (SUC) was trying to calm her down. Given the situation, the firefighters decided not to approach directly and proceeded to place a ladder in a window, anticipating a possible attempt to jump.
After a waiting period, the woman agreed to accompany the doctor to the health center, thus ending the intervention of the emergency services.
