The National Police received six reports and made four arrests in less than 24 hours for various violent robbery offenses in the municipality of Arrecife between Tuesday night and Wednesday afternoon. As La Voz de Lanzarote has already reported, one of the arrests occurred on León y Castillo street in Arrecife, and the young man is accused of theft, threats and injuries.

Regarding the other three detainees on Wednesday, the first two were intercepted in the Charco de San Ginés by National Police officers. Both are of Maghrebi origin and are charged with a violent robbery on Tuesday night.

The last of those arrested throughout Wednesday was another Moroccan man, against whom there was a judicial claim for a charge of violent robbery.

In addition to these already resolved cases, there are three other complaints received by the National Police in the same 24-hour period. One of them was the one filed for the assault on a woman by two men when they were caught stealing in her home, which La Voz already reported on this Thursday, and the other two also correspond to violent robberies.

The first of them was presented on Wednesday morning, when a person reported that a man placed "a sharp object" on his back, in order to intimidate him and steal his belongings. This occurred on Avenida César Manrique in Arrecife, and the aggressor has not been arrested at the moment.

Finally, on Wednesday afternoon, a person of Maghrebi origin reported that two men, also of Moroccan origin, had attacked him to try to steal his belongings. According to the injury report, the complainant suffered a pneumothorax and had to go to a health center. In this case, the National Police has not yet managed to arrest those responsible.
