Six injured of varying degrees in a vehicle rollover in Playa Blanca

Three of the occupants have suffered moderate injuries and have been transferred to the Molina Orosa Hospital

Six people were injured to varying degrees this Tuesday when the vehicle they were traveling in overturned on the dirt road that connects Papagayo with Playa Blanca in the Los Ajaches area. Three of the occupants suffered moderate injuries and were evacuated to the Molina Orosa Hospital.

The accident occurred at approximately 6:42 p.m. when CECOES was alerted. A basic life support ambulance from the Canary Emergency Service, the Emergency Consortium, the Civil Guard, and the Local Police were dispatched to the scene.

The medical personnel assisted the six occupants, all men. The three affected with moderate injuries presented one with facial trauma and cervicalgia, another had trauma to the shoulder and chest, and a third presented with cervicalgia. After being stabilized, they were transferred in a basic life support ambulance from the SUC to the Doctor José Molina Orosa Hospital.

In addition, the paramedics attended to three other men who, at the initial time of assistance, presented with mild contusions and were transferred to the health center in the southern town.

The firefighters secured the vehicle and collaborated with the health services in the transfer of the three lightly affected individuals.

The police officers were in charge of preparing the corresponding proceedings.
