After several weeks of investigation, agents of the Civil Guard of the Main Post of Yaiza have dismantled several laboratories as small greenhouses in which cannabis sativa plants (marijuana flower) were clandestinely cultivated, as well as hallucinogenic mushrooms of the psilocybin family.

The illicit production consisted of 46 marijuana plants in different stages of growth and flowering, with an approximate weight of 917 grams along with another 22 hallucinogenic mushrooms known as 'monguis' both in a state of growth and already dried. These plantations were located in the interior of a house located on La Laja street in Playa Blanca.

Along with these psychotropic substances, all mechanical and electrical systems, measurement and ventilation used to reproduce a constant environment of humidity, temperature and heat suitable for the cultivation of these plants were also seized, in addition to various tools that were used for drying the crop, a precision scale, a marijuana press and a total of 665 euros resulting from these illicit activities.

The operation has closed with the arrest of the male R.B.B., 22 years old and a native of Cádiz, accused of a crime against public health and placed at the disposal of the court.
