Several containers were burned in the early hours of this Sunday, July 20, as reported by the Emergency Consortium.
The first intervention occurred around 3:56 a.m. on La Inés street. The first to arrive were the police officers who were able to move several containers near the one that was burning. The firefighters extinguished the flames of the container intended for organic waste, but it was completely burned.

Half an hour later, security and emergency personnel had to go to Yagabo street in the capital of Lanzarote, where two organic waste containers were burning. The firefighters extinguished the fire in the containers, which were burned.
Finally, the CECOES also alerted the Emergency Consortium to another fire in a clothing container, located on Alfonso XII street, in the Argana neighborhood. The firefighters verified that it was an attempted fire at the door of the container, already extinguished, so they applied foam to prevent a possible reignition. Local Police agents also went to the scene.
