A new electric scooter accident has been recorded this Sunday, May 25 in Lanzarote, being the third in less than three weeks on the island.
The incident occurred at approximately 9:00 in the morning in Arrecife, in the vicinity of the bus station, when a man riding a scooter collided with the door of a car, just as the driver of the vehicle was opening it.
Agents of the Local Police and an ambulance of the Canary Emergency Service (SUC) have moved to the scene, after being alerted by the Coordinating Center for Emergencies and Security (CECOES).
The health personnel have assisted the 44-year-old man, who presented multiple contusions, and once stabilized he has been transferred by ambulance to the Doctor José Molina Orosa Hospital.
The Local Police has regulated traffic in the area and has taken charge of the corresponding report of the accident.
