Some residents of El Cuchillo experienced moments of tension after a bonfire got out of control on San Juan night.
According to La Voz, the flames reached a fiber boat that was next to the bonfire, causing a dense column of smoke. The incident took place at around 8:30 p.m. this Friday and the Local Police were immediately called, who arrived together with the firefighters and Civil Protection. The fire was quickly extinguished.

On the other hand, the emergency services had to act in a fire inside a house in Tinajo. As explained by the mayor, Jesús Machín, the fire was probably caused, because it occurred inside the house that is uninhabited. "That house is inside the farm that is behind the City Hall and that I had already agreed with its owners to acquire it."
Once alerted at the Local Police, they went to the place and also the firefighters, the Boluntis and Civil Protection.
Machín wanted to thank the work of all the emergency personnel who worked on San Juan night and quickly put out the fire.
