Residents of the center of Arrecife and the Titerroy neighborhood have conveyed to La Voz their concern about fights that are taking place in the streets of the capital, as shown in two videos that are circulating on social networks.
One of them was recorded on Calle Real and shows several young people in a fight in broad daylight, which ended with several of them thrown to the ground. At one point, you can also see how one of the young men even grabs a table from a local bar and throws it down the street.
The other images were recorded in the Titerroy neighborhood and show a young man outside a bar who suddenly starts throwing chairs from the local's terrace, throwing some into the middle of the road, while neighbors are heard reproaching his attitude.
According to a neighbor, these events took place on Tuesday night on Avenida Eugenio Rijo Rocha, where they say that "there is usually a dispute in the bars."
In fact, that same day and on the same street, the National Police arrested two people who had gotten into a fight. It took place at about 3:20 p.m. and the protagonists were arrested for crimes of injury and threats, as La Voz has been able to confirm.
