A man of approximately 50 years old has suffered a traffic accident early this Thursday morning. The incident took place near the Guatiza gas station, in the direction of Órzola.
According to the manager of the Lanzarote Security and Emergency Consortium, Enrique Espinosa, the vehicle ran off the road, apparently because it was going at "a great speed".
The car was transported 100 meters from the road. Its driver had to be extricated and transferred in a medicalized ambulance to the Doctor José Molina Orosa Hospital.
